After five amazing years, I had to close my cafe & studio in the city due to the Melbourne Metro Rail Project works, but as with every great story; there are many chapters left to write.

In the year which passed since the cafe closed, I ended up taking the year 'off'. I found myself surprisedly exhausted after watching the demolition of my cafe and along with it, the years which accumulated to me realising my childhood dream. Suddenly, I needed some time to rediscover who I once was.

After missing the decadently exciting cafe & studio life I once had, Alice Nivens was born; a haven to continue my journey. A wondrous place where I create sweet morsels like the good ol’ cafe days, a blog to share recipes + stories of life since the cafe, and now my new adventure navigating through parenthood!
